Aluminium windows were installed to the newly constructed hospital block on the existing Pinderfields site in Wakefield. Windows included top hung and horizontal pivot opening lights with double glazed units from a combination of clear toughened glass, low emissivity glass, laminated glass, obscure glass and solar control glass to suit the building requirements. The opening lights also needed to comply with secure by design requirements and ventilation requirements as per the clients specification.
