FXi Casement Window Suite (thermally broken): Technal offers one of the most comprehensive and flexible commercial aluminium window ranges available today. Each system features a variety of safety and security options, achieves outstanding weather resistance and can be supplied with a high performance thermal break.
FXi52 is a highly engineered 52mm window available in tilt/turn, side and top-hung, open-out (with friction stays or butt hinges), open-in, balcony doors, fixed light and composite window configurations. A 9mm flush polyamide barrier ensures superior thermal performance and allows the option of dual colour.
FXi46 follows the same sophisticated design principles as FXi52, but with a 46mm framing module. It is available in tilt/turn, side and top hung, open-out (with friction stays), open-in, fixed light, composite and pivot window configurations. An 8mm flush polyamide barrier provides excellent thermal performance and a dual colour option.
FXi65 gives specifiers more choice and flexibility to meet the requirements of Part L of the new Building Regulations. The 65mm system incorporates a 19mm flush polyamide thermal break and innovative detailing to offer enhanced thermal performance and allows more economical glass specifications to be used whilst still delivering the required U-value of 2.2W/m²K, even with a glass centre pane U-value as high as 1.9W/m²K. With the same engineering and aesthetic qualities as FXi52, it is available in fixed light, tilt/turn, top hung, side hung, bottom hung and composite configurations.

Technal Curtain Walling
Curtain Walling (thermally broken): Technal’s curtain walling systems have been developed to create impressive yet functional façades, providing designers with the flexibility to create high performance solutions, which are visually exciting, both internally and externally. Sheer high rise glass walls incorporating complex shapes and uninterrupted views are possible, as are simple but dramatic entrances. MX is Technal’s new curtain walling suite, which is believed to be the first in the UK and Ireland to offer such a wide range of design options from a single grid system. This major advance in façade technology gives architects and specifiers the opportunity to vary the appearance of the building envelope, and on a single project if required, with all the design and construction advantages of one fully integrated grid system. MX also benefits from enhanced thermal performance and will achieve low U values in accordance with the most stringent building regulations. Design options include:
- Low to high rise curtain walling MX Trame Sloped and faceted façades Ribbon glazing Concealed vents.
- MX Visible Grid: 6 to 32mm glazing available as a flat façade or faceted up to 20°. Concealed vents suitable for 23mm and 31mm structural glazing
- MX Trame: 6 to 32mm glazing, which allows specifiers to highlight the vertical or horizontal sections across the building envelope using distinctive aerofoil profiles. The system can be specified as a flat façade and faceted up to 10° for MX Trame Horizontale.

Technal Doors
The CD Door system is available in hinged, pivoted and sliding configurations, and has a number of special features to enhance its weather performance, safety and security. Options include automatic operation and an anti-finger trap device.
