£1m Order Month - AGAIN
3/2/2012
As the UK’s economic recovery continues to creep along at a snail’s pace, we are confident that Quest will be racing ahead in 2012 having won four prestigious projects with top main contractors.
West Nottinghamshire Academy, Scunthorpe
Having built up an effective partnership with Mansell Construction during our works at the
Hulme Hall Residences at Manchester University, we are delighted that this past winner of the Major Contractor of the Year has seen fit to award us a further high-profile project.
Quest’s work at West Nottinghamshire College in Mansfield is due to commence in June this year where we will be designing, manufacturing and installing a range of aluminium curtain walling and door sets in a project worth circa £450k.
To quote Mansell’s own core values, Quest subscribe to the “tradition of nurturing repeat business through safe, on time, on budget project delivery and careful attention to customer needs and end-user expectations”.
We are very much looking forward to working with them on this and future projects.
St Lawrence Academy, Scunthorpe
Repeat business is very important to us and no more so when it is with a main contractor with whom we have built up a close professional relationship based on past and ongoing performance.
May Gurney have a genuinely collaborative approach to their schemes, and this is reflected in our current work for them at Roebuck Academy, Stevenage and Norwood and Dunraven Academies in Lambeth, London.
As part of the Government’s recommitment to the education sector, May Gurney were last year awarded the £11m contract to build two new teaching wings at St Lawrence Academy in Scunthorpe .
We are delighted to announce that May Gurney has awarded Quest the sub-contract for the design, supply and installation of the windows, doors and curtain walling package worth circa £375k
Embassy Gardens, Vauxhall
We
are excited to be involved in Ballymore’s mixed use development at the 15 acre Nine Elms site in Battersea, which will create a mixed use and completely new area of London.
Our own part in this project involves £150k worth of aluminium doors and curtain walling to a development on the new US embassy site.
This will be our first project with multi-award winning Ballymore, a family business which is now established as one of the top developers in London.
Stonyhurst College, Clitheroe
Long-standing partners, Globe Management Services, have awarded Quest the tender to carry out glazing works to a new refectory building at Stonyhurst College in Clitheroe.
Work to design, manufacture, supply and install windows, doors and curtain walling to the building is due to start on during summer 2012 with Quest’s package coming in at circa £150k.
This will be our tenth project with this well-established and highly-regarded Warrington-based company.
The new building will provide a significant upgrade for the Clitheroe college’s catering and dining, and will meet the 21st Century needs of the historic college. Throughout, consultation has taken place with English Heritage, who describe the design as “quietly modern – standing as an obvious addition to the complex without competing with the more historical elements.”
The building will have a total floor area of 1,425 square metres and will create new state-of-the-art kitchen facilities with the necessary storage and support areas
.
