GEARING UP FOR 2009
11/10/2008
As the headlines continue to reflect the economic downturn in construction, Quest is delighted to report that the current ‘credit crunch’ has not affected our client’s confidence in us. We have been awarded tenders for a number of high profile projects over recent weeks which will see Quest busy over the festive period and well into the traditionally ‘quiet’ winter months of 2009.
Work on a circa £200k aluminum curtain walling package will begin at 2 New York Street, Manchester for Globe Management Services early in the New Year. Long-standing client, Multibuild have also awarded us works valued in the region of £450k at the new Premier Travel Inn at Gatwick Airport due to commence in December 2008 . Closer to home we have just started works at Yarborough Primary Care Centre, Grimsby to install circa £200k worth of windows, doors and curtain walling.
With work continuing at a number of sites from Liverpool right through to Hull over the coming months, Quest is confidently looking forward to a busy 2009.
